Immediate vesting for employees who commenced employment with KCTCS prior to July
1, 2009.
Five (5) years of active participation in the KCTCS plan for employees who commenced
employment with KCTCS on or after July 1, 2009, but who separated prior to January
1, 2023.
One (1) year of active participation in the KCTCS plan for employees who commenced
employment with KCTCS on or after January 1, 2018, and who were still employed as
of January 1, 2023.
One (1) year of active participation in the KCTCS plan for employees who commenced
employment with KCTCS on or after January 1, 2023.
