7.5 Naming of Privately Funded Academic Positions

The following policy shall govern the establishment of permanent endowment or other private funding for academic positions:

1. Prior approval by the KCTCS Board of Regents is required for the establishment and announcement of an endowment or other private funding that supports the appointment of an academic position.
2. All solicitation of gifts for support of academic positions and the handling of these gifts will be done in accordance with policies and procedures established by the KCTCS President.
